Pinhas & Sons stands as one of Israel’s most unique and intriguing bands, forging a new Israeli sound by blending grooves and harmonies from a diverse range of ethnic worlds. Led by composer Ofer Pinhas, the ensemble merges the musical landscape of an orchestra with the energy of a band, incorporating elements of Jazz, Classical, and World music, to create a signature sound that is energetic, experimental, humoristic, and delightfully eclectic.
Formed in 2015, Pinhas Symphony have released three studio albums and two live concert albums. They have performed on prestigious stages across Israel, including the renowned Red-Sea Jazz Festival, and have collaborated with some of Israel’s top artists across different genres and musical worlds.
Pinhas Symphony’s live performance is often described as a cult experience – having audiences dance, sing, and cheer with their whole heart to these non-ordinary grooves and melodies. Their shows blend African, Balkan, Latin, Arabic, Classical, and Jazz influences, all intertwined within seemingly “catchy” songs with verses and choruses.
