Itzhak Ventura is considered one of the leading musicians in Israel in his field and as continuing the ways of his teachers
A performer, composer and producer who marvels at playing one of the oldest wind instruments in the East – the Ney flute made of reed.  Ventura immersed himself in learning and exploring the Arabic, Turkish and Persian Ney styles
In addition to playing with the “East and West Jerusalem Orchestra” since its establishment in 2009, he has played with well-known orchestras and musicians in a wide variety of musical genres
Itzhak was inspired by some of the greatest Ney players in history and today’s first-rate musicians to create a new and up-to-date musical language that combines ancient sounds and motifs of the Ney with contemporary production while maintaining the traditional  sensibilities he grew up with

His debut album ALIGNED includes ten original compositions that combine traditional motifs and virtuosic expressions

On stage
Itzhak Ventura – Ney
Yonathan Daskel – piano and synthesizer
