Following the release of his debut album “Look Above”, drummer and composer Yonatan Tagger embarks on a special concert tour, inviting audiences to join him on an inspiring and unique musical journey.
With music that bridges tradition and innovation – between New York jazz and his family’s Jerusalem synagogue -Yonatan Tagger creates a borderless sound, marked by a deeply personal and distinctive touch. The music moves between virtuosic instrumental pieces, intimate ballads, and fresh, original arrangements of ancient Hebrew liturgy.
As a young member of the Banai family and a graduate of Berklee College of Music, Yonatan Tagger brings a new and authentic voice to the Israeli scene, and reimagines the intersection of jazz and local culture.
