Yarden Biton, 32 years old from Tel Aviv, plays the Turkish baglama and creates electronic oriental music.
After a journey to rediscover my musical passion, I encountered the baglama at a performance by several artists from Turkey who came to tour Israel, and my heart never stopped being moved by the magical sound of this instrument.
A long tradition around one musical instrument brought me to the studio to explore, learn, and bring the baglama to the forefront.
An electronic show in the style of Afrobeat, Deep House and Techno, combined with musicians performing original pieces written inspired by the Greek and Turkish music I grew up with.
This show is a celebration of movement and sounds from the East and this time, we will be launching my second album together. Excited and looking forward to embarking on our journey together.
