The Groove redemption

Saturday January 21 20:30

The groove is back

Get ready friends, get ready!
The All-Stars band that rocked Tel Aviv for over a decade is reuniting  on the occasion of a homeland visit  of the band’s founder, the celebrated drummer Oded Kafri
Abraxas, Mental, the Music Room, are some of the places where the ‘Groove’ made their home and left audiences with fallen jaws  and broken pelvises
Their shows are characterized by huge amounts of energy bursting from the stage and a sky-high musicianship

As expected, over the years the band members have developed magnificent careers, each in their own field, and this is a rare opportunity to experience again the unique magic from which it all began.
We shall dive into the band’s huge repertoire focused on the music that parties are made of. No matter from which period or which artist the songs will be chosen – rest assured the performance will resonate!
This is an energy-intensive dance party and therefore, in accordance with tradition, the show will be standing.
(Not standing – dancing, to be precise)

Doors open at 8:30
At 9:30, opening act by the drummer Oded Kafri, followed directly by an extended set by the ‘Groove’ including special guests and what not

On stage:
Oded Kafri – drums
