Mordy Ferber, one of the greatest guitar players in Israel, celebrates his 65th birthday with a special show accompanied by a super-group (Meir Israel – drums, Micha Michaeli – bass, Gil Feldman – keyboards) alongside a battery of first-rate guests: ‘Shlihei Hablues’, Arik Sinai, Shem Tov Levi, Kobi Ushrat, Leah Shabat, Arkadi Duchin, Uzi Fox, Yehuda Eder and Micah Shitrit.

Mordy Ferber is considered one of the leading jazz players in the world and is among the 350 greatest guitar players of all time.
Upon his release from a military band, in a short period (1980-1982) Mordy made his mark in the history of music in Israel by playing in concerts and albums of great Israeli artists: Arik Einstein, Shlomo Artzi, Yoni Rechter, Eli Magen, Miki Gabrielov, Shem Tov-Levy, Nurit Galron, Esther Ofarim, Shlomo Gronich and many others.
The first Israeli to be admitted to Berklee on a full scholarship, Mordy is the first groundbreaking Israeli jazz musician in the world
From 1985-1990 Mordy served as a lecturer at Berklee College in Boston and then moved to New York.
Mordy released 5 solo albums on the companies Enja, Half Note, BFM and CBS Europe in which he recorded and played with the biggest jazz and rock players in the world such as:
Michael Breaker, Jack DeJonet, Eddie Gomez, Peter Erskine, Will Lay, Miroslav Vitus, Jack Bruce, Richard Bona, Jeff Berlin, Larry Gramm, Jimmy Heslip, Butsy Collins, Bob Minzer , Dave Liebman, Donnie McSlin, George Garzon, Billy Hart, Adam Nussbaum, Bob Moses and many more.

As a sought-after composer, he wrote music for films and television, among others for series:

Mordi appears many times in well-known jazz clubs such as Esse Jazz Club Moscow. Porgy and Bess Vienna. Blue Note NY, San Francisco, Milan, and Japan and jazz festivals in the world.
The highlight was performing with Miles Davis on the same stage, Boston Globe Jazz Festival in 1989 Jerry Lewis 1988.
With about 35 years of experience as a senior lecturer with the title of professor, Mordi has taught at prestigious institutions such as NYU University, BERKLEE COLLEGE & NEW SCHOOL
Today, Mordi serves as a senior lecturer at Ramon, Mordi also utilizes his connections as a promoter and driver for Ramon and students with prestigious institutions abroad such as Berkeley Boston and others and continues to conduct master classes all over the world.

Mordi is the first and only Israeli to have guitars built in his name, which led him to be active and represent top-class musical instrument companies.
