Kama Kamila brings with her to the Israeli stage the poetry of the Azerbaijani Mugham – ancient prayers that characterize her native land.

With her deep and powerful voice she very skillfully interweaves the ancient prayer in the Azeri language with the texts she wrote in Hebrew and the contemporary music she composed and together a new and unique style was created. Between the songs she tells about the fascinating customs of Azerbaijani Jewry. Through her music you can really feel the spectacular views of the Balkans and smell the scent of the Caspian Sea.

In her solo performance, Kamila will sing and play the piano and the special drum that she inherited from her musical grandmother to whom she was very attached. The concert will host: the Balkan Choir directed by Maria Talanov and the gifted pianist Tamir Leibovitch.
Together they will perform Kamila’s special music, her original songs from the first album “Adamah” recorded in Azerbaijan, and folk pieces from Azeri folklore, in fusion-jazz arrangements for the piano that she specially prepared for the style of a solo piano performance.

Doors open 20:30, show starts 21:30
Presale tickets NIS 90 or NIS 100 at the door.
