An evening filled with West African rhythm, dance, and energy – celebrating Harouna Dembélé’s 20 years in Israel.

Harouna Dembélé, a prominent and highly respected figure in the West African music scene, marks two decades of creative work, teaching, and connection with Israel’s African drumming and dance community. He celebrates this milestone with a festive performance bringing together artists and musicians from both Israel and abroad on a single stage.

Joining him are Fatouma Dembélé and Evelyn Mambo – who are traveling to Israel specifically for a week of workshops and masterclasses – alongside “HaKobrot” (The Cobras), an Israeli drumming and musical ensemble led by Nir Etzbeoni. Etzbeoni is a master event producer, drummer, and African drumming instructor with 30 years of experience.

The show will conclude with a tribal party on the plaza, featuring DJ Itai Reznik on the decks!

This is the grand finale of “Masters Week” and the 20th-anniversary celebrations—an electrifying, immersive encounter blending drumming, rhythm, and dance; uniting artists from Africa and Israel; and bridging West African tradition with the local stage.

A unique evening featuring masters, rhythm, and the people brought together by African music over the years.
