Until the end of the 1960s, jazz and funk developed in parallel. However, as part of their constant search for the next thing, from the early 1970s pioneers such as Miles Davis experimented with combinations between the genres. From that moment, the golden age of funky-jazz began.
The music created in this period is widely considered as a peak for its complexity and the skill required to perform it, and continues to inspire generations upon generations of musicians until today, and it will most likely continue in the future.
Yossi Fine was there in real time and met and collaborated with the biggest names in the scene, and survived to tell the story! and play!!
We are pleased to invite you to a special evening and show dedicated to this fascinating period in the history of music, with performances of the best and most challenging works in the genre by wonderful musicians conducted by the one and only Yossi Fine
