Doron Mizrahi’s debut album “Before 40” – represents his musical journey in nine movements.
Doron is the deputy academic director at Rimon School of music, a lecturer at the Jerusalem Music Academy, a composer and a guitarist.
The album is an autobiographical musical story – inspired by periods, people, and musical styles that have influenced Mizrahi’s life and musicianship.
Alongside the jazz quintet who recorded the album, the Budapest Scoring Orchestra adds their cinematic-classical atmosphere.
The album was recorded in various countries including Israel, Hungary, New York, and California, featuring elite Israeli jazz musicians and several special guests.
Upon its release, various tracks of the album received thousands of likes on Facebook, were broadcasted in multiple countries, and reached impressive numbers on YouTube and Spotify.
The project was chosen to represent the Israeli booth at WOMEX festival in Spain, which is the largest music fair in the world today.
It also received a grant for promoting new Israeli creation from Mifal HaPayis and was chosen for the “Tzolelet” Exposure Festival.
The premiere will take place at the “Zone” club in a special 360° show, where Mizrahi will be joined by the quintet who recorded the album on stage:
Doron Mizrahi – guitar,
Elad Adar – piano,
Eitan itzcovitch – drums,
