After five years, Azulai/Nemet return with a new and colorful album “Happy and Hungry”. The album was produced by Nadav Azulai and Gil Nemet and was recorded in Be’er Sheva at the Cactus Studios of the creative duo.
Nadav Azulai, who is not only a musician but also a music producer and mix technician, has worked over the years with Shanan Street, Dana Berger, Itay Pearl, Gabriel Belhassen, Yossi Babliki, Tamar Eisenman, Eran Zur, and others.
Gil Nemet is an extraordinary multi-disciplinary artist involved in video, visual arts, and dance. He is also a multi-instrumentalist, recognizable in performances as the guy with the mohawk who moves like a Tasmanian devil among all the instruments on stage.
“On The Side of the Bads”, “Wolf Wolf”, and “Teach Me to Dance”, their previous albums, received great acclaim in the media and marked them as a rising and refined force in the new Israeli music scene. Now they are releasing their fourth album “Happy and Hungry” and coming to a launch show at “The Zone” with songs from all the albums.
They worked independently on the new album, which serves as a big brother to the previous album “Teach Me to Dance”, crowned as Album of the Week on Galgalatz.
