What are the odds for a rock-steady band to appear in Israel in 2020, and for this band to be internationally acclaimed? quite low, that is true, Nevertheless…
The “Young Israelites” made history with their debut album being the first, and probably the only rock-steady album ever to come out of Israel.
Not only was it made in Israel, the album drew the attention of specialists around the globe such as the iconic UK based reggae selector David Rodigan, among many others
The band revives this unique late 60s sound and add their own spice to it, creating delightful nostalgic-yet-fresh sonic flavors
This show celebrates the band’s participation in the Rototom-Sunsplash festival – the largest, oldest and most important in Europe, which is a first for an Israeli band.
