Motown Celebration

Motown Records was founded in 1960 in Detroit, Michigan, and mainly engaged in writing songs and hits, producing and training African-American artists and ensembles. The unique Motown ‘sound’ was created by a special group of musicians called The Funk Brothers.

The founder of the Motown records was Barry gordy jr .
Motown quickly became a cultural concept that has influenced the music industry to this day.

The singers and ensembles created by Motown were among the biggest and most influential musicians in the music world; Artists such as Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Smokey Robinson, Michael Jackson, Martha Reeves, Diana Ross (and more), alongside groups such as the Four Tops, Jackson 5, The Temptations, The Supremes and more.
