Treat yourself with an evening full of groove and brass instruments. With a taste from their new album (or rather – release) and a new music video, the Jerusalem band Marsh Dondorma comes to celebrate at The Zone.
Sixteen musicians come together on one stage to create a show, an experience and a phenomenon called Marsh Dondorma. This year the orchestra celebrates 17 years of playing and creating, during which it managed to release 7 albums, a children’s book, collaborate with Berry Sakharof, Shlomi Shaban and many more, perform around the world and draw large crowds to unforgettable parties on stage and in the street.
Marsh Dondurma stirs together middle eastern melodies with New Orleans trombones, Yemenite beats with Balkan riffs; Klezmer wails with booty-shaking funk.
“When they lock on to a groove, the outcome is irresistible” All about jazz
And where else could you hear a brass band and a Qanun play together?
